This is the story of why I created my first free Procreate painting masterclass.

Back in 2001, when I first decided I was going to invest in an iPad, I went looking for Procreate tutorials.

I was familiar with digital painting, but I wasn’t familiar with Procreate and wanted to know how to use it to its fullest.

I scoured the internet for hours searching for a tutorial that show the process of painting realistic flowers. To my disappointment, I found none.

So I set out to learn how to use Procreate by myself to create stunning realistic masterpieces.

After months of experimentation, I finally cracked the code.

Once I had my own system in place, the first thing that came to my mind was, “I need to share this with the world!”

I’m sure that much like me, there are thousands of others longing to be able to create flowers you can smell through the screen.

So I set out on a journey to create a free Procreate masterclass for you to enjoy.

I chose an Orchid as the subject because it seems like a simple enough subject at first glance, but when you start looking closely, you’ll see that there are some beautiful complexities to the bottom petal.

It also provides a wonderful opportunity to talk about how to choose the right colors, how to achieve unity in the paintings and so many more things!

This free Procreate masterclass will show my process from A to Z.

I’ve made it as complete as possible, full of explanations, free brushes, line art, and many pro tips laced throughout.

You’ll get the reference photo I used (from my personal collection), tips on how to translate it to a painting, and so much more.

If you want to see the shortened version, I uploaded it to my Youtube channel.

If you’re looking to level up your art skills this year – this is the masterclass for you!
